Senior strong safety Anthony Harris is Virginia’s lone representative on the preseason All-ACC team it was announced Wednesday.
The team was selected by media members who attended the ACC Football Kickoff on Monday and Tuesday. The full team can be seen here.
Wednesday’s announcement marks the fifth preseason honor for the Chesterfield native, who has also been named to four preseason award Watch lists: the Walter Camp Award for player of the year, the Nagurski Award for the defensive player of the year, the Bednarik Award also for the defensive player of the year, and the Jim Thorpe Award for the defensive back of the year.
Harris earned All-American honors in 2013 after leading the nation in interceptions with eight in his breakout junior season.
