The agent for Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth is denying a claim that he sexually assaulted a waitress at the W Hotel in Washington over the weekend.
There seems to be no truth to these allegations and we are currently evaluating the facts and we are currently evaluating the facts and considering our own legal actions against those involved, Chad Speck wrote in an e-mail to CSNwashington.com.
The alleged assault was first reported by NBCWashington.com.
Haynesworth was in the Washington area after turning himself in to Fairfax County Police officials Saturday morning in Reston for a road-rage incident earlier Feb. 2. He faces a March 31 court date on a simple assault charge.
Hours later, Haynesworth was downtown when the alleged incident occurred.
A source who was in Haynesworths company until 12:30 a.m. Sunday did not witness any wrongdoing.
He was with a woman in a secluded area for a birthday party with security, the source said. When we there, he was as friendly as could be. He was good with the fans, he was sober, he wasnt doing anything out of the norm.
The NBCWashington.com report cites a police report that says Haynesworth -- though not mentioned by name -- caressed the waitress' breast after she had indicated to him he could place his credit card in a pocket on her blouse.
Over the weekend, another Redskin, Brandon Banks, ended up in the hospital with surface stab wounds after an incident at a club in the District.
