Florida Panthers forward Matt Bradley said he plans onapologizing to former Capitals teammate Alex Semin Tuesday night when the twoplayers meet for the first time since Bradley said Semin plays as if he doesntcare in an Aug. 17 radio interview.
The Panthers visit the Capitals Tuesday night at the Verizon Center.I wish I could take it back, Bradley told the South Florida Sun Sentinelafter Mondays morning skate before the Panthers game in Tampa. I apologize forsaying it.Semin is a great player. Its one of those things you wish you could takeback, but you cant, so all I could do is apologize and move forward. Hes oneof the stars in this league. I had no business saying that.If I see him, Ill apologize,Bradley added. In his six years with the Capitals, Bradley was a popular player andteammate and still has many friends in the Washington dressing room. But when hecriticized Semin and accused his former teammates of having a nonchalantattitude, many players voiced their disapproval.I love my years in Washington; its a great team, a greatorganization, Bradley said. My wife Sasha and I have a lot of fondmemories of the area. We had our son, Henry, there. I had a great six yearsthere. All the guys I played with were great; the coaches were great.
