Capitals do the line shuffle

Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau is notorious for switching up his line combinations and he did plenty of that during the Capitals 7-4 loss in Vancouver, dropping right wing Mike Knuble from a second line with Marcus Johansson and Alex Semin to a fourth line with Matt Hendricks and Mathieu Perreault.

Ironically, Knuble drew a penalty shot while skating with his new linemates. He scored with a shot that rolled off Roberto Luongos left arm and into the net, making him 2-for-2 in career penalty shots.

Boudreau stuck with his forward lines through the first eight games of the season, but don't be surprised if he shuffles them again when the Caps hit the Kettler ice at 11 a.m. on Monday in an effort to get more offense out of Semin, who has two goals in his first nine games.
