Thursday, October 14, 2010By Ivan CarterCSNwashington.com ContributorI've always been what you'd call a casual hockey fan. Growing up in Minnesota will do that to you regardless of whether you play the sport or not. That's why I tend to defer hard opinions about the Caps to experts like Alan May, Locker etc... But this blog post got me thinking a little bit. Are many of us in the media taking it too easy on the Caps? I'm not so sure. I mean, the fellas are 3-1 right now, have won three straight and appear to be pretty darn good again.Let me know your thoughts in the comments sectionpuck fans...And while you're at it: let me know whether I should challenge Mr. May to a rematch on the ice. He's been talking a lot of junk since taking me down last spring...-Funny how reporters this morning were asking Wizards coach Flip Saunders whether Gilbert Arenas was going to play tonight. C'mon, we all know who decides that and it's never been the head coach. Ask Eddie Jordan. Ok, I'm kidding...Kind of....-Seriously, I'm looking forward to see John Wall live and in person for the first time tonight. I said it last season when he was at Kentucky and I'll say it again: I see a young Isiah Thomas (the point guard, not the GMcoach)-Stopped by Redskins park this morning for an appearance on Redskins Nation. Check it out.....
