Let me start by saying that Dennis Howell, the author of the blog post up for discussion, is probably a Cowboys fan.
"One More Cooley Jab" was posted on DallasProSportsSpot.com, and it basically calls out Chris Cooley for calling out Tony Romo after the Detroit game after way he played against Washington Sunday. Did that make sense?
There's no questions that Romo had a solid game and even Skins coach Mike Shanahan had to tip his hat to Romo. Romo completed 23 of 37 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns - plus no interceptions. Rex Grossman did have one interception, but completed 25 of 38 attempts for 289 yards and two touchdowns, plus one rushing TD.
Back to Cooley: He didn't even play Sunday, and he's catching flack. The real jab came when this blogger said even if Cooley had been on the field, he would not have been the best tight end for the Skins. That "honor" would go to Fred Davis, who had six catches for 49 yards Sunday.
