There was a scary moment right at halftime of the Redskins game against the Giants. After a kickoff in the last couple of seconds, former Redskin and current Giants wide receiver Devin Thomas was laying on the field. As the teams went into the locker room to get ready for the second half, Thomas was removed from the field on a cart.In the second half there was a press box announcement that Thomas had suffered a neck injury but that he was up and walking around. That seemed to preclude the possibility that Thomas had suffered a major injury.Today, New York coach Tom Coughlin confirmed that the injury was indeed minor. Thomas has a burner and he could be cleared to practice this week.
