After months of speculation and visits to some of college football's premier programs, Good Counsel High School wide receiver Stefon Diggs is set to announce his college decision on Comcast SportsNet on Friday night.
Diggs will make the announcement during the 10 p.m. Geico SportsNet Central after the Wizards' game with LeBron James and the Miami Heat. The announcement will be held in studio.

Diggs has confirmed to CSN that he has narrowed his list to five schools. Auburn, Cal, Ohio State, Florida and Maryland are still in the running for the five-star recruit's services. The 6-foot speedster had an original offer list that included scholarships from more than thirty Division I programs.
"I'm sure he's really confused right now," Good Counsel coach Bob Milloy, a Maryland alum, said when asked about Diggs on national signing day. "I'd seriously doubt that he really knows where he wants to go."
This past weekend Diggs visited the University of Maryland campus in what was his final planned visit before making the decision.
Two of Diggs' teammates on 2011's undefeated Good Counsel squad have already announced their intentions to head to College Park. Running Back Wes Brown and lineman Mike Madaras both signed with the Terps on national signing day.
With Diggs leading the way, the Olney, Md., school won its third consecutive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title in 2011 and finished in the top five of most national polls.
