Look for Capitals defenseman Mike Green to make his long-awaited return to the lineup tonight when the Caps visit the New Jersey Devils in Newarks Prudential Center.

Green skated with the club on Friday morning and took shifts alongside veteran Roman Hamrlik. Coach Bruce Boudreau said that when Green returns he will try to work him into the game and is not ruling out the possibility of Green seeing time on the power play.

Center Marcus Johansson is also expected to be the lineup after sitting out Thursdays practice, one day after reporting muscle soreness from Wednesdays skate-athon.

Johansson is expected to center a top line with left wing Alex Ovechkin and right wing Troy Brouwer. While Boudreau is hoping the influx of speed will help ignite Ovechkin hes also hoping the additions of Brooks Laich and Nicklas Backstrom will help light an offensive under Alex Semin, who has three goals in his first 13 games.

Tomas Vokoun said hes been sworn to secrecy on game-day starters but hes expected to be in goal tonight even though Michal Neuvirth has a 4-0 career mark against the Devils with a 1.00 GAA.

Vokoun is 6-7-1 in his career against the Devils with a 2.42 GAA and .922 save percentage.
