Heres the latest news in a nutshell from Tuesdays morning skate:
-- Defenseman Mike Green skated for 65 minutes and was thelast player off the ice. He is still favoring his sprained right ankle and willnot play tonight against the Dallas Stars. Barring a setback, Green should becleared to return this weekend if not Friday night in New Jersey, thenSaturday night at home against Jersey.-- Right wing Jay Beagle skated on his own before practiceand will continue that routine for a few more days before being cleared forcontact in practice.
-- Michal Neuvirth was the first goalie off the ice, so lookfor him to make his second career start against the Stars. He allowed two goalsin a loss to Dallaslast season.--Left wing Cody Eakin will return to the lineup on a secondline with center Marcus Johansson and right wing Alex Semin.Eakin was a healthyscratch Saturday night on Long Island. Hisreturn likely will mean a seat in the press box for Mathieu Perreault, who saidhe played better on Saturday than his minus-3 suggests.
