As if eight straight losses in a row isn't enough, Wizards top scorer Nick Young had to be helped off the practice court on Monday with a knee injury. Late in practice during a scrimmage, Young was trying to get free on the baseline when he planted his left knee wrong and went down. Young was helped off the court by the team's trainer Eric Waters and his status will be updated Tuesday. "We will wait and see," Wizards coach Flip Saunders said.
Also missing Monday's practice was forward Yi Jianlian with a sprained left ankle while forward Al Thornton also sat with a dislocated right finger. "We always have something going," Saunders said. The Wizards host Milwaukee on Wednesday night giving all three players some time to recover and get healthy enough to play.
Forward Josh Howard, who hasn't played in over a month due to soreness in his surgically repaired knee, won't play against the Bucks but hinted he may be back to face San Antonio Saturday at home. Howard was back at practice and participated fully on Monday.
