It seems like in todays NBA, its hard to win without having a star studded lineup on your team. Are the Wizards wasting time by having to rebuild? I mean think about it, most of the great teams have at least three superstars: Boston with Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. Miami of course has arguably one of the most popular triplets in the NBA with LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwayne Wade. The Knicks who did not make much noise but most likely will this year has Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudamire, and Chauncey Billups (and possibly Chris Paul if they trade for him). The list goes on from the Lakers to the Spurs, and even the Dallas Mavericks who are the NBA defending champions.

This should make you wonder which players make up a triple threat for the Wizards? John Wall would be one, of course. Not quite sure if you would consider Andray Blatche as the second superstar. Only time will tell. Then there is JaVale McGee, Rashard Lewis, Jordan Crawford and Nick Young (if re-signed).

Obviously, the Wizards do not have that and they are in that rebuild mode. Are the Wizards even going about it the right way? So many questions, not enough answers.

Its certain that John Wall needs more pieces around him. With more talent, the Wizards can start winning more games and maybe..just maybe get a spot on national television? The Wizards have 0 national television appearances this year in case you hadnt checked the 2011-12 NBA schedule released Tuesday evening.

I say forget the superstars and continue building the team around the rising superstar we already attain John Wall. With Wall its very possible the Wizards can take the same approach as the Chicago Bulls, who have essentially two superstars in Derrick Rose and Carlos Boozer. The Bulls had the best record in the NBA with 62 wins for a reason. Good defense, a leader in Rose and a good bench. Mind you most of the Bulls players were free agents but it shows you that there are many ways in building into a contender.
