Rex Grossmans second interception against the Dolphins remained a topic Thursday because that was the first time offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan was available for questionsDown 13-9 early in the fourth quarter, the Redskins faced a first-and-goal from the Miami 10-yard line. The Redskins had a bunch formation to the left side (Jabar Gaffney, Leonard Hankerson and David Anderson), but Gaffney was waved in motion outside by Grossman.Gaffney was clearly the primary target.Anderson ran an out route and Hankerson and in-and-out pattern to clear space for Gaffney, who darted inside at the snap.It looked like Karlos Dansby was originally on Hankerson but left that responsibility when he read Grossman. Gaffney didnt run in front of the linebacker, but behind him, setting up the pick. There was definitely a bust on the play, Kyle Shanahan said. There was some bad distribution on someone trying to make an off schedule peel. It was definitely the right throw, the right timing of the play when Grossman should have let it go and the right read.
