Fast facts as the Capitals prepare to face the new-look Flyers tonight in South Philly:
- Alex Ovechkin has recorded more points against the Flyers (35 in 22 games) than against any other Atlantic Division opponent. Ovechkin has 20 goals and 15 assists against Philadelphia, including one goal and two assists in four games last season, each of which was decided in overtime or by shootout.
- Nicklas Backstrom is another Flyer killer with 27 points in 16 career games against them. Backstrom has 7 goals and 20 assists against the Flyers in his career. Backstrom leads the Caps with six points this season, five of them coming on the power play.
