Before commencing with its annual slate of Grapefruit League games this spring, the Nationals will play host to Georgetown University in a charity game.
The Nats and Hoyas will square off at noon March 2 in Viera, Fla., getting a nice tune-up before they start facing major-league clubs the rest of spring training.
This marks the second time Georgetown will make the trek down to Space Coast Stadium to face Washington's big-league franchise. On Feb. 28, 2008, the two teams played in a similar event, and the result was just a tad lopsided. The Nationals won 16-0.
Tickets for this year's game cost 5, and proceeds will go to the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation.
