According to a yahoo sports report the NBA is considering pushing back the start of training camps until Monday.

No official decision has been made as of yet but league and team executives have been pondering the decision over the past 48 hours.

Friday is supposed to be the first day teams are allowed to sign free agents make trades. Training camps are scheduled to start on Friday also. Right now a lot of teams rosters are in flux and would have a tough time fielding enough players to run a suitable training camp.

The Wizards are scheduled to open their preseason on Dec. 16 against the Philadelphia 76ers. The NBA regular season starts Dec. 25 and the rest of the regular season schedule will be released later today.
