Randy Moss announced in an Internet chat that he wants to play in the NFL again. That news really has no relevance in a blog about the Washington Redskins but since some have asked if the Redskins might be interested in signing him, here is the answer.No.Moss, who retired from the NFL last year, is 35 and he really doesnt have a spot on a team that is looking to get younger. The Redskins have their share of wide receivers over the age of 30 who are under contract in Santana Moss and Jabar Gaffney. In addition, if you look at Moss 2010 season there is no reason to think that he will be much of an upgrade over who is on the roster already. With three teams, Moss played in 16 games and caught 28 passes for 393 yards. The Redskins Santana Moss played in only 12 games and had 584 yards receiving. The Redskins did have a chance to make Moss a Redskin in 2010 at midseason. The Vikings released him and the Redskins, who had then even great need at wide receiver than they do now, did not place a claim.
