If you're a marginal member of the Washington Redskins' roster, you might want to check your messages before reporting to work on Wednesday.
The team has announced a flurry of roster moves. They have signed defensive lineman Kentwan Balmer, defensive back Domonique Johnson, and receiver David Anderson.
At the same time, they announced that they have released tight end Dominique Byrd, defensive lineman Darrion Scott, wide receiver Donte Stallworth, and cornerback Brandyn Thompson.Since the Redskins added three players and waived four, there is still one more spot on the 53-man roster that will need to be filled. It is expected that they will do that prior to the start of practice early Wednesday afternoon.
