The Redskins began building their off-season roster Tuesday by signing six players to reservefutures contracts. Each player ended the year on the practice squad.

Retained were tackles Selvish Capers and Xavier Fulton, receivers Taurus Johnson and Maurice Price, running back Shawnbrey McNeal and defensive lineman Rashaad Duncan.

Capers was a seventh-round pick last April from West Virginia and spent the entire season on the practice squads after getting cut after the preseason.

Fulton (December), Johnson (November), McNeal (December), Price (December) and Duncan (December) joined the Redskins practice squad late in the season.
