Rex Grossman said yesterday that the Seattle game was not his best since becoming a Redskin. He thought that the season opener against the Giants was his best and that last Sundays was a close second. He was right if you look at the passer rating for those games. Grossman posted a 96.6 rating in Seattle and a 110.5 against the Giants. Those are his best and third-best game QB ratings since his Super Bowl 2006 season with the Bears. With Chicago in 2007 he put up a 109.8 rating against the Raiders. However, the fourth quarter of the Seattle game was his best finishing period since that 2006 season. Grossman was very sharp in helping to rally the Redskins from 10 points down in the fourth quarter. His fourth-quarter rating of 154.3 was by far is best in the last five seasons. Here are Grossmans fourth-quarter ratings of over 100 from 2007 through last Sunday:OPP Date Att-Comp Yards TD-INT RatingSEA 11.27.11, 9-7, 109, 1-0, 154.3ARIZ 9.18.11, 17-12, 104, 1-0, 106.0NYG 9.11.11, 7-5, 53, 1-0, 132.7NYG 1.2.11, 14-8, 140, 1-0, 115.2DEN 11.25.07, 13-9, 69, 0-1 107.52010 seasonWith Bears vs. Mike Shanahan-coached Broncos
