UPDATED 4:28 p.m.
Three Redskins starters are listed as questionable for Sundays game against Dallas.
Starting left guard Maurice Hurt (knee), right tackle Jammal Brown (groin) and strong safety LaRon Landry (Achilles) were limited in practice Friday. Sean Locklear (ankle), who started in Browns absence last week, was limited and also questionable.
Mike Shanahan said Locklear and Brown are game-time decisions. If neither can go, rookie Willie Smith will play right tackle. Also, a team source told CSNwashington.com Redskins Insider Ryan OHalloran that newcomer Tyler Polumbus is expected to start for Hurt at guard.
Brown said his status is up to Shanahan and Co. Its their call, he said.
Were still evaluating, Brown added. Well hopefully do some stuff tomorrow. As of right now, theyre preparing Willie to play. Its not about sucking it up if you have a tear, you have a tear and you dont want to make it worse. But I definitely want to be out there.
Said Shanahan: We didnt push him that hard. Well see how he works out pre-game. He has to get in his stance and be able to push off going against some very quick and very powerful defensive linemen and you have to feel comfortable you can get the job done.
Hurt said he injured his knee in the second half against Miami.
Im trying to fight through it and do all I can and see how it goes on Sunday, he said. Im glad its not a serious injury. Its something that comes with the territory.
Out for the Redskins are Santana Moss (hand), Niles Paul (toe), and Keyaron Fox (infection).
Probable and practicing fully on Friday were Oshiomogho Atogwe (toeknee), Tashard Choice (hamstring), Reed Doughty (chest), London Fletcher (ankle), and Logan Paulsen (shoulder).
