Two days after saying he was 75 percent healed from a high ankle sprain, left tackle Trent Williams is active for the Redskins game today against San Francisco.
Williams was injured early in the Week 6 loss to Philadelphia and missed the losses to Carolina and Buffalo.
Tight end Fred Davis (ankle) is active, while safety O.J. Atogwe (kneetoe) is not.
Inactive are receiver Santana Moss (finger), running back Tashard Choice (hamstring) along with healthy scratches linebacker Markus White, receiver Donte Stallworth, offensive lineman Willie Smith and defensive lineman Darrion Scott.
Other leftovers from the week:
According to STATS Inc., the Redskins offense ranks 11th in the NFL with 16 three-and-outs among their 81 drives (19.8 percent). The league average is 22.9 percent and San Francisco ranks tied for 25th with 24 three-and-outs in 85 drives (28.2 percent).
49ers running back Frank Gore is coming off a career-high 31 carries last week against Cleveland. Per CSN Bay Area, San Francisco has run the football on 54.6 percent of first-down snaps and 54.9 percent of the second-down plays.
More than 100 former Redskins players gathered in the end zone two hours before kickoff for a group photo. This is the second Homecoming Game.
