Let's not get too upset that the Wizards are not on national television this season, because they don't deserve to be. The Wizards did little last year to show that the rest of the country should see them play and they have a long way to go to earnleague-wide respect.
Let's not forget the Wizards were 23-59 last season, and 3-38 away from Verizon Center. Let's not forget that after the all-star break, the Wizards were routinely getting blown out and their best player called out his teammates for not having heart. Let's not forget that two players got into a fight outside of a nightclub and were both suspended for a game apiece.
You could argue that Wizards guard John Wall is good enough to get a national television audience, but they have to win first -- something theteam has not done now for three straight seasons.
The Wizards have to earn respect and that comes with wins and then maybe next season, ESPNABC and TNT will come calling. Until then, enjoy the games on Comcast SportsNet.
