Last week, water temperatures remained steady and by the end of the week, water cleared up nicely! This week, after a rough start, fishing should be improving!
Water temperatures are inching upwards and should be between 45-50 by the end of the week. Water clarity is improving, but tides bring stained water at times. Grass beds are starting to come in and clearing the water.
Tides will be low in the morning, high midday and falling later in the day. Fish are on drops in water 6 to 10 feet deep. Watch water temps, moving shallower when it gets over 45!
The best news for fishing this week are the favorable mid day to early afternoon low tides, during the warmest part of the day. Find drops close to the bank, in out of the current areas.
