NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Baltimore Ravens by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
BALTIMORE RAVENS (3)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 3) - Somehow, some way, they will have to pull through without Ray.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 8) - Losing Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb makes defense more vulnerable.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 2)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 2) - Losing Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb won't make things any easier.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 5) - The bad news far outweighed the good for the Ravens. They beat the Cowboys after sweating out a late comeback, but lost Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb for the year. Season-altering injuries? They'll soon find out.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 4) - The Ravens must carry on without their emotional leader Ray Lewis, who will miss the rest of the season with a torn triceps.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 4) - Talk about a Pyrrhic victory. That Dallas game may have cost the Ravens more than they ever thought possible.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 2) - Their Super Bowl road will be tougher without unquestioned leader Ray Lewis.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 2) - After a shaky 9-point performance a week ago they put 31 on the Cowboys. Next week they play the Texans with the No. 1 AFC seed on the line. The injuries make holding down this spot very tough.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 4) - A big W with some big losses. Namely LB Ray Lewis and CB Lardarius Webb.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 4) - A 31-29 victory over Dallas was overshadowed by season-ending injuries suffered by two key defenders - cornerback Lardarius Webb (knee) and iconic linebacker Ray Lewis (triceps).
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 4) - You have to respect the record, but injuries to Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb could make it difficult for them to stay on top.
