Aldrick Robinson passed all of the requisite neurological tests during an examination Wednesday afternoon and has been cleared to play Sunday against the Falcons.Robinson, the Redskins No. 5 wide receiver, also participated fully in practice Thursday, less than a week after being knocked unconscious for more than a minute during a pregame collision with teammate Brandon Meriweather.Hes ready to go full speed, Coach Mike Shanahan said after practice.Shanahan said he thought Robinson could have played in Tampa Bay, but NFL rules prohibited him from suiting up.Ill be honest with you, after talking to him after he went out, I thought he could have played that afternoon, Shanahan said. But it was one of those situations with the rules where you cant play after youre knocked out.He felt very good, never had any side effects, the coach added. Right from the start, he felt good that evening and the next day. You never know if hes going to pass the test for sure, but I felt like there was a good chance.
