Redskins Post Game Live

The Redskins had to put Bryan Kehl and Nick Sundberg on injured reserve yesterday but the remaining members of the roster are in pretty good shape.

Only two players on the 53-man roster were limited in practice today. One was Chris Neild, who has been hampered by a strained calf since to game against the Raiders on September 29.

The other was David Amerson, who suffered a concussion in the Dallas game on Sunday.

“He had no side effects so hopefully he'll be OK tomorrow,” said Mike Shanahan after practice.

Amerson said this morning that he felt “fine”.

Among the injured players who practiced fully were LB Brandon Jenkins (ankle), TE Fred Davis (ankle), C Will Montgomery (knee) and TE Logan Paulsen (knee).

Shanahan also announced that Sundberg underwent surgery to repair the torn meniscus in his knee. His expected rehab time is five months.
