Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has left the game against the Redskins with a groin injury and will not return.

With about 10 minutes left in the second quarter, Cutler stepped up into the pocket and was sacked by defensive lineman Chris Baker. It appeared the Cutler’s right leg got caught in the turf and he stayed on the ground for a couple of minutes. Bears trainers took him off the field and straight to the locker room to be examined.

Veteran Josh McCown came in to quarterback the Bears.

Cutler was three of eight passing for 28 yards. He had one interception that linebacker Brian Orakpo returned for his first career touchdown.
