Kicker Kai Forbath, linebacker Brandon Jenkins and tight end Jordan Reed did not practice Thursday, according Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan said.

Forbath, who has missed the past two games with a strained groin muscle, will kick on Friday or Saturday before the team decides whether he will return Sunday in Oakland. Jenkins (ankle) and Reed (quad) were injured against the Lions and have not practiced this week.

Tight end Fred Davis, meantime, was limited for the second straight day with a sprained ankle.

“You always have to be ready for people going down, but Fred did get some practice in, which was good,” Shanahan said. “Jordan still has a chance so we’ll kind of wait for game day and keep our fingers crossed that we have as many people healthy as we possibly can.”

Cornerback Jerome Murphy, meantime, was excused from practice on Thursday due a death in his family.
