The free agent market opens for business Tuesday at 4 p.m., and we know you can hardly wait. But you’ve got to. So, in the meantime, we’ve put our Free Agent Fits series into one post and provided the CliffsNotes version in case you missed it (or just needed a quick refresher).

With the exception of players who have re-signed with their clubs in recent days, our suggestions have not changed. For the original, more detailed post on each position, click on the link.

Offense

Position: Wide receiver

Best available: Eric Decker, Broncos.
Best fit: Golden Tate, Seahawks. He’s 25, was Russell Wilson’s top target in 2013 and ranked as the league’s ninth best punt returner, another need in Washington.
Best of the rest: Julian Edelman, Patriots; Emmanuel Sanders, Steelers; Dexter McCluster, Chiefs; James Jones, Packers; and Jeremy Maclin (re-signed with Eagles).

Position: Center

Best available: Alex Mack, Browns (transition tagged).
Best fit: Evan Dietrich-Smith, Packers. He’s 27 and would help the Redskins get younger. But better? That’s debatable.
Best of the rest: Brian De La Puente, Saints; J.D. Walton, Redskins; Ryan Wendell, Patriots; and Roberto Garza (re-signed with the Bears).

Position: Tackle

Best available: Eugene Monroe, Ravens.
Best fit: Anthony Collins, Bengals. Has started at left and right tackle, hasn’t allowed a sack since Week 4 of the 2009 season (a span of 700 pass block plays) and, of course, has played for Jay Gruden.
Best of the rest: Branden Albert, Chiefs; Austin Howard, Jets; Michael Oher, Ravens; Rodger Saffold, Rams; and Zach Strief, Saints.

Position: Guard

Best available: Travelle Wharton, Panthers.
Best fit: Geoff Schwartz, Chiefs. At 6-6, 340, Schwartz possesses the size that Gruden covets. Can also play tackle in a pinch.
Best of the rest: Jon Asamoah, Chiefs; Zane Beadles, Broncos; and Willie Colon, Jets.

Position: Backup quarterback (only if Kirk Cousins is dealt)

Best available: Josh McCown, Bears.
Best fit: Tarvaris Jackson, Seahawks. Has made 34 career starts and won’t break the bank. Made $840,000 last season.
Best of the rest: Shaun Hill, Lions; Rex Grossman, Redskins; Luke McCown, Saints; Matt Flynn, Packers; Kellen Clemens, Rams; and Colt McCoy, 49ers.

Note: We'll post defense this afternoon.
