Wide receiver Pierre Garçon (foot) and safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Panthers, Coach Mike Shanahan said Friday.

Linebacker Perry Riley (hamstring) has been listed as questionable.

“I felt good out there today,” Riley said. “This isn’t my first time straining it. There’s a little pain, but everybody has pain around Week 10. I’ll be able to go.”

Listed as probable were: linebacker London Fletcher (hamstring), cornerbacks David Jones (achilles) and Josh Wilson (shoulder) and punter Sav Rocca (knee).

Garçon did not practice this week; Meriweather, meantime, is making progress.

“He got a good week of practice in,” Shanahan said. “That’s a good sign. With the bye week, hopefully the next week he’ll be ready to go."
