Although it appears Robert Griffin III will suit up Sunday against the Vikings [insert link here], the status of the Redskins’ top wide receiver suddenly is uncertain again.
Pierre Garçon has been listed as questionable after struggling Friday with a sore right foot. The veteran missed two games earlier this season with the injury.
“It’s lingering for sure,” Coach Mike Shanahan said. “It was enough where he didn’t take many reps today. It’s painful and that’s why we sat him out. It’s tender and it’s still sore. It’s a pain issue, but it’s sore enough where he can’t push off all the time.”
It’s unclear if Garçon suffered a setback, but he participated fully in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
Other players appearing on the injury report include: Safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) and defensive lineman Doug Worthington (calf) are out; cornerback Cedric Griffin (hamstring) is questionable; running back Evan Royster (knee), nose tackle Barry Cofield (shoulder) and cornerback DeAnglo Hall (knee) are probable.
