DeSean Jackson has left Redskins Park. But he may be coming back.
Our Tarik El-Bashir reported a short time ago that the free agent wide receiver had left the team facility after about three hours of meetings. That was taken as a sign by many that the Redskins had lost out on bidding for the services of the three-time Pro Bowler.
However, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is now reporting that the bidding is just beginning.
Rapoport also said that Jackson is not leaving town and is staying around “in hopes of doing a deal.”
So, we will see how this shakes out. Jackson’s departure from Redskins Park was not the end of the process. But it does appear that we are at the beginning of the end.
