Shanahan and Coughlin's history goes way back

Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is inactive for tonight's game against the Giants. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN he suffered a setback to the concussion he suffered two weeks ago. It was widely reported last night that Reed, the team's second-leading receiver, was cleared to play.

Injured FB Darrel Young (hamstring) and TE Niles Paul (illness) are also inactive.

Also out for the Redskins are QB Rex Grossman, LB Brandon Jenkins, CB Chase Minnifield, and OL Josh LeRibeus.
