Tight end Jordan Reed did not pass the concussion test he was given Friday morning and did not practice, Coach Mike Shanahan said.

Reed has not practiced since getting hurt Sunday in Philadelphia, raising doubts about the rookie’s availability for Monday night’s game against the 49ers.

“He’s still going through the protocol,” Shanahan said. “He’ll go through the protocol again [Saturday] and see how it goes.”

If Reed does not play, Fred Davis will return to the lineup after being inactive the past five games.

Defensive end Stephen Bowen (knee) and fullback Darrel Young (hamstring) did not practice, either. Bowen re-injured his right knee against the Eagles and has not practice since. Young, meantime, tweaked his hamstring in practice this week but said he expects to play against San Francisco.

Cornerback Josh Wilson (toe) did participate in practice, Shanahan said.
