Rich Tandler breaks down the new Redskins coaching staff

The Redskins’ coaching overhaul continued late Wednesday.

Jay Gruden has reportedly hired Kirk Olivadotti as an assistant coach, according to the Macon Telegraph. Olivadotti was an assistant for the Redskins from 2000-2010 but has spent the past three seasons at Georgia as the Bulldogs’ inside linebackers coach.

During his first stint in Washington, Olivadotti served in a variety of assistant roles, including defensive quality control, defensive backs, special teams, defensive line and linebackers. Gruden will be the eight head coach he has worked under in Washington.

Earlier Wednesday, the Redskins announced the hiring of Brian Baker as the team’s new outside linebackers coach and Ben Kotwica as special teams coach.
