After one of the best receving seasons ever for the Washington Redskins, many thought Pierre Garçon would get an invitation to the Pro Bowl. While Garçon did not make the initial cut, many changes typically happen on the Pro Bowl roster before the players actually make it to Hawaii, so Garçon still had hope of being honored. That hope looks to be shrinking.
Looking at the 2013 stats, Garçon deserved the nod over Fitzgerald. The Redskins receiver hauled in 113 catches, a new record for the franchise, for 1,346 yards and five touchdowns. Fitzgerald caught 82 passes for 954 yards, though the Cardinals big man did catch 10 touchdowns.

Though Garçon has still not been named to the Pro Bowl, Washington tackle Trent Williams and running back Alfred Morris will make the trip. The Pro Bowl takes place January 26 in Honolulu.
