Left guard Kory Lichtensteiger missed a second consecutive practice Thursday due to the sprained ankle he suffered against the Cowboys, raising questions about his availability for Sunday's playoff game against Seattle.

Lichtensteiger did, however, participate in stretches with his teammates before moving to the sideline and observing.

“He’ll get treatment everyday,” Coach Mike Shanahan said. “Hopefully, he’ll be able to practice tomorrow.”

If Lichtensteiger can’t play, his likely replacement is Josh LeRibeus. The rookie took 21 snaps after Lichtensteiger left the game Sunday.

Cornerback D.J. Johnson (knee) also did not practice. Safety DeJon Gomes (knee) was limited but said he anticipates suiting up if there is no setback.

Shanahan also said cornerback Cedric Griffin, participating in his second practice since returning from a four game suspension, looked sharper.

“He had a good practice,” Shanahan said. “Hopefully, he continues to do that tomorrow.”
