Left guard Kory Lichtensteiger was not wearing a helmet and stood off to the side as his teammates warmed up for practice on Friday, raising doubts about his availability for Sunday’s playoff game.

Lichtensteiger suffered a sprained left ankle in the third quarter against the Cowboys and did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, either.

If Lichtensteiger does not suit up, it would seem likely that Coach Mike Shanahan will turn to Josh LeRibeus. The rookie filled in for Lichtensteiger after he left Sunday’s game and was praised by Shanahan for his work.

Shanahan will speak to reporters later.
