The Redskins have agreed to terms with Buccaneers linebacker Adam Hayward, according to multiple reports.
Hayward will come to Redskins Park tomorrow for a physical and will sign his contract then, assuming he passes.
There are strong connections between Hayward and the current Redskins staff. Bruce Allen was GM in Tampa Bay when he was drafted in the sixth round in 2007 and Raheem Morris was on the Tampa Bay defensive staff and then the Bucs’ head coach up until 2011.

He was primarily a special teams player and a versatile backup linebacker in Tampa Bay. In his seven seasons there, he started just 13 games.
Hayward could compete for a starting job at inside linebacker or serve as a reserve and special teams player.
