During his playing career London Fletcher largely said the politically correct thing, rarely making much noise or controversy with his comments. Now that he's retired, it appears Fletcher is ready to let loose.

Early Thursday morning Fletcher questioned the Redskins hire of new head coach Jay Gruden to replace the fired Mike Shanahan, though he made reasonable points to hold off on judging Gruden. He also spoke about excuses made for poor defensive play and who he thought deserved to take over as defensive coordinator.

Up next for Fletcher, address rumors surrounding young quarterback Robert Griffin III. A series of negative press made RG3 out to be a pariah among his teammates, and Fletcher refuted those reports.

Most of the allegations leveled against RG3 came from anonymous sources. Fletcher even saw fit to poke fun of that.
