Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather, who left Sunday’s game with a concussion, joined his teammates for practice Friday after being cleared by doctors.
"I don't know about Sunday but I was cleared to practice today," Meriweather said. "I did what I could do. It depends on how I feel tomorrow and the next day."
Meriweather has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Lions. Also questionable are: kicker Kai Forbath (groin), wide receiver Leonard Hankerson (hamstring and groin), defensive end Stephen Bowen (knee) and Kedric Golston (abdomen).
Hankerson was hurt toward the end practice Friday, Coach Mike Shanahan said.
“He just got a little tweak—hamstring, groin,” Shanahan said.
Forbath did not kick Friday as originally planned. He’s now expected to test out his leg Saturday.
“We’ll try him tomorrow and wait as much as we can and see how he practices tomorrow,” Shanahan said.
