Your Tuesday morning open thread:
The Redskins have a quarterback controversy but it's of the atypical variety. The QB and the coach are in disagreement over how Griffin's rehab is being handled. What has been hinted at came out in the open yesterday as RG3 said "I don't like it" when asked about the plan and Shanahan said that Griffin doesn't have to like it.
But all disagreements are not unhealthy. Yesterday afternoon, Griffin tweeted that all is well.
There is no friction. There is an understanding between coach and player. That is all. Don't have to like everything— Robert Griffin III (@RGIII) August 12, 2013
Is this much ado about nothing? As I noted in my Need to Know post this morning they agree on the most important point, that Griffin is on track to be ready to play Week 1.
Or could this disagreement lead to further issues down the line?
What do you think?
