Your Wednesday morning open thread: 

Numbers don’t always tell the whole story, particularly in sports. But this one, I think, pretty much sums up the current state of Washington’s defense.

From @NFLESPN’s Twitter feed:

If you are what the numbers say you are, the Redskins’ unit is historically bad right now.

But, hey, on the bright side of things, the Giants are allowing more points. New York has yielded a league-worst 38.3 points per outing, while Redskins are a distant second at 32.7.
