Your Wednesday morning open thread:
In the past two games, Robert Griffin III has rushed for a total of 161 yards on 20 carries (8.1 yards per). In the previous four games combined, he rushed for 72 yards on 18 carries (4 yards per).
The “burst” is once again apparent. The agility has returned. So has the production.
But is RG3 all the way back? Is he the same player he was last season? If not, what percentage would you say he is seven weeks into the season?
I’m going to say he’s about 90 - 95 percent. I still think there’s a little bit more there and that he’s going to gain slightly more speed and elusiveness (think last year’s 76-yard touchdown sprint against the Vikings) over the next few games. I also wonder he can get to 100-percent as long as he's wearing that rigid, hinged brace.
Where do you put Griffin percentage-wise?
