Your Monday open thread:

I got into this in this morning's Need to Know and here it is in a nutshell. Brian Orakpo told USA Today that he could get the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, saying it's an "obtainable" goal.

But if you look at the pass rushers who have won that award, they not only piled up some impressive sack totals--something Orkapo is capable of doing in the right circumstances--but they also have made plays in other areas. Orakpo doesn't have a career interception or touchdown (his opposite number, Ryan Kerrigan, has two, both returned for touchdowns) and has recovered just one fumble.

Can Orakpo make enough plays to get the votes to be DPOY? Or is the Pro Bowl, perhaps a second-team All-Pro, his honors ceiling?
