Your Monday morning open thread:
We had better hurry up and take a quick look back at the preseason win over the Bills because there's a lot coming up in the next week.
What do you think was good and bad?
There was a lot more good than bad, even though the "dress rehearsal" saw the starters on offense (well, except, of course, the quarterback) go 19 snaps and the defense play about 16. And I guess we can start with that--do you think the starters played long enough. Most starters around the NFL went for a half, about 35-40 plays. Any concern that the starters will be rusty by comparison or are you glad that they stayed out of harm's way?
Any favorite performances? I liked Keiland Williams on offense and Darryl Tapp on defense. Oh, and I'm starting to have some faith that Tom Compton might be able to hold his own if Trent Williams can't go for any reason.
Really not much on the negative side although it's still scary to watch Tyler Polumbus in pass protection sometimes.
