RGIII cleared to practice, but is he 100%?
Your Tuesday morning open thread:
I hit on this yesterday but I want to get your comments this morning. The Redskins are going to activate Robert Griffin III for training camp about six and a half months after he sustained an injury that is supposed to take a minimum of seven months to rehab. Was that the right move?
Griffin was cleared by Mike Shanahan after Dr. James Andrews gave him the green light to do so last week.
On the one hand, you can say that the Redskins should be overly cautious and that a couple more weeks of rest could be helpful. But as a second-year QB Griffin needs the work and as long as he is brought into things slowly the risk of bringing him back before an arbitrary date is minimal.
What do you say? Too soon or just right?
