Your Friday morning open thread:
Lambeau Field is full of history. It’s also a place where the Redskins haven’t tasted victory in almost 25 years.
It’s not really as bad as it sounds; they’ve only played in Green Bay three times since their last win at Lambeau, a 20-17 triumph Oct. 23 1988. (Chip Lohmiller provided the winning margin with a 20-yard field in the fourth quarter.)
Since that win, though, it's been mostly ugly. The Redskins suffered losses by margins of 37-0 (in 2001), 30-9 (in ’02) and 17-14 (in ’07).
So here’s today’s topic: Will the Redskins silence the Cheeseheads and end their slump at Lambeau? And if so, why?
