Your Friday morning open thread:
The Redskins have a five-day season coming up starting Sunday with a game against the Chargers and another one in Minnesota. If things turn out right they could well be battling for first place in the NFC East when they go to face the Eagles on November 17. If they go wrong the Redskins will be playing out the string and some players and even coaches will be wondering where they will be in 2014.
How will it turn out?
--Lose two: With two losses they are 2-7 and a whole bunch of folks will be looking for change of address kits come 2014.
--Split: They would be 3-6, right where they were last year after nine games. The chances of another winning streak to close out the season are there but slim.
--Sweep: At 4-5 they could well be tied with Dallas in the loss column going into Philly. Playoff hopes would not only be alive but realistic.
What's your prediction?
